Apex Rooter and Plumbing Services of Northern Colorado was recently challenged to move a septic system in Glacier View Meadows, Red Feather Colorado.Due to annual freezing temperatures and frost, the existing septic system and piping were required to be buried at a deeper depth. The greatest challenge was where the original system was placed and the fact that 100% of the area was granite.Apex recommended relocating the system to allow the ideal depth to bury the system and piping to avoid freezing. Once relocated a depth below frost, the system was piped into the main GVM forced system.Moving the septic system provided the room needed to bury the pipes and tanks deep enough to protect them from the annual freeze.
