"I'm going to the super market, I'll be back in a few." Demi said as she kicked her feet in her sneakers.I was focused on the show that they were giving on the television. "Okay." I responded after a few seconds.I hared Demi opened the door and whisper Joe's name. I looked over to where Demi was standing. Joe? Really? I can feel my self not breathing every few seconds. "Hey babe." he said as he pecked Demi lips. "I brought you these." he said as he gave her flowers.They were roses. Demi's favorite. A huge smile grew on her face. She leaned in and kissed him. I was still sitting there on the couch, not doing anything. Seconds were passing and Demi still didn't back away. I faked a cough. "Get a room." I said.She backed away and smiled at me. "Joe, keep Selena company as I run down to the super market quickly."He walked passed Demi and nodded. "Alright." Demi kept her face focused on mine. "Selena do me a favor and put these flowers in a vase for me." I nodded. "Oh and make sure your dream don't come true." she said in a cheesy way before she headed out the door.I sighed and got up from the sofa. I walked over to were the flowers were and walked towards the kitchen. I knew Joe was behind me since I heard extra foot steps. I opened one of the kitchen counters. The vase was on the top shelf. I sighed once again and tried to reach for it.I felt Joe get behind me. He put a hand on the side of my waist. He pulled his other hand out and reached for the vase. Once it was in his grip he took it down. I turned around.Our bodies were close. I took the vase out of Joe's hand. "Thanks." I said as I got out of his grip and walked towards the sink. I turned it on and started to fill up the vase half way."How's your foot?" I hared Joe ask me.I shrugged my shoulders. "It's alright." I said as I started to put the roses in the vase."Does she know?" he asked.I looked at him confused. "About?"He sighed. "About what happened yesterday. Between us."My eyes widen. "I thought it was a dream."He shook his head no. "You must of really hurt your self bad. Yesterday happened Selena." I looked over at him. "So did you tell her?" he asked again.I bit my bottom lip as I took the vase and walked towards the dining room. I placed the vase in the middle of the table. "I kind of did. But I told her it was a dream." I paused for a second. "I feel horrible. How can you kiss me knowing you had a girl friend."He looked at me in disbelief. "Hey you leaned in too. so it's not all my fault. You kind of started it.""No I didn't!" I yelled at him."Yea you did." he said calmly. "Your are the one who started the make out session."Anger started to build up inside of me. He was right. "You're the one who, who put your hand up my dress. You were going to have sex with me!" I yelled.He stood still. Nothing came out of his mouth. "Yesterday was a mistake. It wont happen again. So now you can calm down.""I cant calm down." I yelled. "Demi's my cousin and we cheated on her." I said as guilt suddenly hit me.Joe walked closer towards me and hugged me. I buried my face in his chest as I felt tears streaming down my face. "Shh it's okay, at least we stopped before anything happened. Besides, It wont happen again." he said. I nodded as I still held on to him. I hope he was right. I don't want to hurt Demi again.Okay this is a long one. I hope you guys enjoyed it. The story will get better.
