This is the bathroom almost completed. I would like to Thank Pop Pop for his help in the removal of the toilet and the subfloor. Pop pop then helped lay down new plywood and a few vinyl tiles to re-install the same toilet, after I cleaned it. He used all new components and it works like brand new. I laid the rest of the tile and scraped paint, wall paper and the drywall paper(some not all) off the wall. I removed the old trim, scraped, sanded, primed and painted the trim. Then I spackled the entire room, several times. Sanded, primed and painted. I caulked everywhere for heat retention and for moisture control, including removal of old caulk in the tub and re-caulking the whole thing-so messy eck!. Ananda installed the new to us (Used $15) sink basin, and new white outlets, light switches and the lights and medicine cabinet. This is the major part to me...... I wrestled the previous vent out of the wall --friggin' little bugger. ergh! Then I wrestled a new vent back in. Oh by the way it had to be turn 90 degrees. I rewired it and it---get this---works!!!!!!!!! hell yeay! Lastly I replaced all the mismatched hardware with chrome hardware and added some tchotchkes and fish. Calvin picked out the fish. Special thanks to Grammy who tried like hell to clean the tub but it's still dull, very clean, but dull-no biggy though. Thanks everyone!!! XOXO Love you!
