But if you run into situations where there are large holes in the wall or possibly a foot went through the wall or your doorknob went through the wall or somebody fell over and crashed into your wall you will need to do some new drywall replaced. Replacing drywall has certain technique to it to ensure that your walls still looks level and smooth. There are hard wire mesh kits that can cover holes up to 8 inches in diameter and of course there are also smaller ones that will cover smaller drywall holes.But if you need to repair a large hole in the wall then I recommend using a piece of drywall to repair the hole.
